This website
seyapp.com sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking and no third-party scripts of any kind. There is nothing here to opt into or out of, which is why you are not being shown a consent banner.
The one external request the site makes is for its typefaces, which are served by
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font from
Google means your browser’s IP address is visible to Google for that request. Google
states it does not use Fonts requests to profile users, and sets no cookies on them. If
you would rather avoid it entirely, a content blocker will stop the request and the site
will fall back to the fonts already on your device.
The SeyApp app
The mobile app does not use cookies. It is not a web page. It does store data locally on your device, which is a different thing and worth being clear about:
Essential storage. Your sign-in session, so you are not asked to log in every time. Your language and display preferences. A cached copy of recent bookings so the app works when you briefly lose signal. None of this can be turned off without making the app unusable.
Analytics. The app includes Google Firebase Analytics, which records how the app is used, including screens opened, features used and crashes, so we can find and fix problems. This is tied to a device identifier, not to your name.
Push notifications. A notification token is stored so we can tell you when your driver is arriving. You can revoke notification permission in your device settings at any time.
Marketing. Marketing emails carry a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn promotional messages off in the app under Account → Preferences.
For the full picture of what the app collects and why, see the Privacy Policy.
