This website
seyapp.com sets no cookies. Nothing is stored on your device by this site, which is why you are not shown a consent banner: there is nothing here to opt into or out of.
It does make two kinds of external request, and both are worth knowing about.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. We count how many people visit the site and which pages they read. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for this specifically because it is cookieless: it sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, does not build a profile of you, and cannot follow you to other websites. It records the page viewed, the site that referred you, and broad technical details such as browser, operating system, device type and country. We use it to judge whether the site is doing its job, and for nothing else. There is no advertising network involved and no data is sold.
Google Fonts. The typefaces are served from fonts.googleapis.com and
fonts.gstatic.com. Loading a font from Google means your IP address is visible to
Google for that request. Google states that it sets no cookies on these requests and
does not use them to profile users.
A content blocker will stop either of these, and the site works normally without them.
The SeyApp app
The mobile app does not use cookies. It is not a web page. It does store data locally on your device, which is a different thing and worth being clear about:
Essential storage. Your sign-in session, so you are not asked to log in every time. Your language and display preferences. A cached copy of recent bookings so the app works when you briefly lose signal. None of this can be turned off without making the app unusable.
Crash reporting. When the app crashes or hits an error, a report is sent to Sentry so we can find and fix the problem. Reports describe the device and what went wrong. They never include your password or card details. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Push notifications. A notification token is stored so we can tell you when your driver is arriving. You can revoke notification permission in your device settings at any time.
Marketing. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
